With Tile Distro’s sample service, you can compare different styles, colours and finishes from the comfort of your own home and choose your tiles with confidence.
Why Order a Tile Sample?
A sample allows you to see how a tile really looks and feels before committing to your full order.
You can use your samples to check:
- The true colour and finish of the tile
- How the tile looks in natural and artificial light
- How it works alongside your furniture and décor
- The texture and quality of the surface
- How different tile options compare side by side
How to Order Your Samples
Ordering samples from Tile Distro is quick and simple.
Find a tile you love while browsing our website and select the sample option available on the product page.
Add your chosen samples to your basket and complete the checkout process.
We’ll then prepare your samples and get them on their way to you.
Cut Tile Samples
Cut samples are a convenient way to see the colour, texture and finish of a tile before placing your full order.
Please remember that a cut sample only represents a small section of the full tile.
Tiles with significant shade, colour or pattern variation may look different across the full product and between individual tiles.
Full-Size Samples
Where available, full-size samples allow you to see the complete tile, including its overall pattern, design, colour and finish.
Full-size samples can be particularly useful when choosing patterned, marble-effect, stone-effect or highly varied tiles.
Choosing the Right Tile
We recommend viewing your samples in the room where you plan to install the tiles.
Lighting can have a significant effect on how colours and finishes appear, so try viewing your samples at different times of the day and under both natural and artificial light.
You may also want to place your samples alongside your chosen paint colours, furniture, kitchen units, bathroom furniture or other materials to see how everything works together.
Shade & Pattern Variation
Some tiles are specifically designed to feature natural-looking variations in colour, shade, pattern and texture.
This is particularly common with marble-effect, stone-effect, wood-effect and patterned tiles.
A sample should be used as a guide and may not show every possible variation within a complete order.
We recommend viewing the product images and specifications carefully before placing your full order.
Ready to Place Your Order?
Once you’ve found the perfect tile, simply return to the Tile Distro website and order the quantity you need for your project.
We recommend ordering approximately 10% extra to allow for cuts, breakages and wastage during installation.
For more complex layouts and laying patterns, additional wastage may be required.
